This is my /now page. Derek Sivers created the /now page movement as a public declaration of current priorities. Rather than updating an endless resume, a /now page acts as an antidote to distraction, helping creators and thinkers answer the perennial question, "What are you focused on right now?"

Work. Leading technical design and delivery of the Clinical AI Agent at Oracle Health. Most of my attention right now is on context retention across voice, text, and touch, which is a much harder problem than it sounds.

Research. Continuing my PhD in Computer Science at UCCS. Currently focused on Human-Centered AI and how clinical LLM systems should behave when they are uncertain. Writing about it as I go.

Building. Built a new version of MyKeepass app for macOS, rewritten from scratch, full of new features, and not completely FREE! Also working on two iOS apps, powered by AI. More about them soon when I released them.

Reading and learning. Reading "The Art of Doing Science and Engineering - Learning to Learn" by Richard W. Hamming. It's a guide that teaches readers how to cultivate the creative mental habits, problem-solving strategies, and styles of thinking needed to do great and impactful scientific work.

Off the keyboard. Looking for a new motorcycle to buy. Trying to find a great deal on a used cruiser.

Open to. Consulting work, conversations about clinical AI, PhD collaboration, and speaking.
